Music is central to our worship and parish life. Our song is our prayer – a powerful way to unite the community in a spirit of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving. Being part of a spirit-filled music ministry offers a unique opportunity to share our talents and skills while leading the community in prayer through music. Therefore, at Saint Rose of Lima, we enthusiastically welcome all who feel called to participate in our vibrant music ministry.
Currently, our music ministry is comprised of our Parish Choir, a traditional 4-part choral ensemble; Praise & Worship Band, a contemporary ensemble; Life Teen Band, a new contemporary ensemble for youth and teens; and Cantors, solo voices who lead the community in musical prayer throughout each liturgy. We also welcome guest musicians on a regular basis for holidays and special celebrations.
