Saint Rose of Lima

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-inspired Catholic faith formation program that invites young children to grow in a loving relationship with God. Rooted in Scripture and the liturgy, it nurtures each child’s natural sense of wonder and helps them discover the joy of knowing Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

Children gather in the Atrium, a holy, specially prepared space where they can encounter God in a meaningful and personal way. Through listening to Bible stories, exploring beautiful hands-on materials, and participating in prayerful reflection, children are invited to experience the love of God at their own pace.

Rather than simply learning about their faith, children are encouraged to wonder, listen, and respond to God’s presence. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd helps lay a foundation for a lifelong relationship with Jesus and a deep love for His Church.
