Saint Rose of Lima

Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered to all those in kindergarten and first grade. During Mass, just before the readings begin, the children are invited to the front of the church where they are blessed and dismissed by the priest. They then go off to the Family Life Center for a song, adapted gospel reading, an age appropriate reflection, and a fun activity. Children return to the assembly at the offertory.

Participation in Liturgy of the Word for Children does not replace first grade religious education classes.
